Understanding Enhancement Fees

🎯 Learn how enhancement fees work and the different billing types available

How They Work

  • Additional charges applied on top of regular membership pricing

  • Generate their own billing events and may include taxes and processing fees

  • Automatically assigned to members according to membership settings

  • Enhancement fees are NOT:

    • Processing fees

    • Sales tax

    • Late fees

Example Flow

  1. Create locker rental fee

  2. Add to premium membership

  3. Each premium member assigned locker rental fee

Types of Enhancement Fees

There are two types of enhancement fees:

  • Charged annually on selected date

  • Scheduled and charged automatically

  • Best for maintenance, equipment upgrades, and insurance

  2. Billing Month: JANUARY

  3. Billing Day: 1

  • Scheduled for [x] months after the member's start date, then charged annually on that same date

  • Best for locker rentals, parking fees, and premium amenities

  2. Interval: Billed 6 months after start date, then charged annually
