Payment Components

1. Membership cost

• Base cost for each pricing option

• Required for all paid memberships

2. Sign-up fee

• One-time fee on the first payment only

• Optional and configurable per membership

   

3. Administrative fee 

• Optional charge to offset payment acceptance costs

• Applied to the total charge

  • Percentage of total charge

  • Flat amount added to the total charge....................................COMING SOON!

4. Sales tax

• Percentage based on your tax settings and location

• Applied automatically to the taxable subtotal

5. Late fee

• Optional cost for overdue payments

• Can be a fixed amount or a percentage

• Configured in your gym settings

   

6. Enhancement fees

• Examples: annual fees, locker rental, amenity access

• Can be monthly or yearly

• Configured universally or per membership

Example A: Standard monthly membership

• Membership cost: $50.00

• 6% Sales Tax: $3.00

• 3% Administrative Fee: $1.50

Total charged: $54.50

Example B: First payment with sign-up fee

• Membership cost: $50.00

• Sign-up fee: $25.00

Subtotal: $75.00

• 6% Sales Tax: $4.50

• 3% Administrative Fee: $2.25

Total charged: $81.75
