Card (Credit / Debit)

Most common payment method.

Fitness GM Accepts:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards

How it works:

  • Member saves a card to their account
  • System bills the card automatically on the schedule you define

Processing:

  • Instant authorization
  • Funds typically available in 1–2 business days

Cash

In-person cash payments.

How it works:

  • Member pays cash at the front desk
  • Staff records the payment manually in the system
  • No automatic processing or retries

Recommended use cases:

  • Walk-ins
  • Members without cards
  • One-time payments

Important:

  • Always record cash payments in the system immediately

Free

Complimentary memberships and passes.

Recommended use cases:

  • Staff memberships
  • Promotional free trials
  • Comped memberships
  • Guest passes

How it works:

  • No payment is collected
  • Member still receives full access according to membership rules
  • Activity is tracked in the system for reporting

ACH (Bank Transfer) ..................................................COMING SOON!

Direct bank account withdrawals.

How it works:

  • Member provides bank account information
  • System withdraws funds automatically on the billing date
  • Typically lower processing fees than cards

Processing time:

  • 3–5 business days to clear

Notes:

  • Higher failure rate than cards
  • More potential for disputes and chargebacks
