How do I set up a class?

  • Calendar → Create a Class → Enter required class information → Create Class

Can I set up recurring classes?

  • Yes, this is set during class creation. Select the "Recurring Class" checkbox then set the recurring schedule time and days.

How do I set class capacity?

  • Set the number in the Max participants field when creating or editing the class. The system prevents overbooking automatically and marks the class as FULL when capacity is reached.

How do I assign a trainer to a class?

  • Assign the trainer during class creation or when editing an existing class. Trainers must be added to the account first: Settings → Staff → Invite, role set to Trainer.

Can members book their own classes?

  • Yes, via the member portal. They will see the class schedule, class capacity, and the option to book a class. They can also cancel their booking within the account cancellation rules.

How do I cancel a class?

  • Calendar → select the class → Delete → choose This occurrence or Entire Series.

What happens when a class is cancelled?

  • Fitness GM will notify booked members that the class has been cancelled. Credits and/or refunds related to the class will then be automatically issued. 

What happens when a class reaches capacity?

  • The class is marked as FULL and the system prevents any further bookings. Members attempting to book will see that no spots are available.

Can I edit a single instance of a recurring class without affecting the whole series?

  • Yes, you can edit all of the class information for a single class occurrence. Go to Calendar → select the class → Edit → This occurrence → enter your changes → Save Changes.

Can I add a waitlist?

  • No, that feature is not available yet.

How do I add classes to my calendar if our gym doesn't have trainers?

  • Trainers are required for each class. If you don't have trainers, we suggest creating a general staff account that can be assigned to each class.
