How often a membership is paid over time
🔁 Recurring

Monthly, weekly, or yearly memberships that auto-renew. Best for: Standard gym plans.

Member is billed automatically on a set interval (e.g., every 1 month)
- Billing date can be set (e.g., 1st of each month)
- Example: $50/month unlimited access, billed on the 1st, active until cancelled.
💳 Pay Once

Single payment with a set duration. Best for: Short-term passes, workshops, and events.

Member pays one time upfront
- No automatic renewels

Example: $200 for a 3-month summer pass, member pays once and access expires automatically after 90 days.
🎟️ Punch Card

A set number of visits paid upfront. Best for: Drop-in members and class packs.

Member pays for a fixed number of visits
- Each check-in uses one punch
- Membership ends when visits are used or the time period expires

Example: $80 for 10 visits, valid for 60 days
🚦Max Payments

Limits the total number of billing cycles on a recurring plan. Best for: Payment plans and installment-based memberships.

Set the exact number of times a member will be billed before the membership ends

Works in conjunction with the Recurring billing type

Example: $100/month for 6 months - after 6 payments, the membership ends automatically
🚀 Is This a Trial?

Marks a plan as a free or discounted introductory offer. Best for: New member promotions

Free or reduced rate for the trial period, immune from enhancement fees

Trial plans are marked as visitors in the system

When trial completes, member is moved to Lead status if no membership is purchased
