Billing Structures & Duration Settings

How Often a Membership is Paid and How Long a Membership Lasts

Billing Structure

How often a membership is paid over time

🔁 Recurring

  • Monthly, weekly, or yearly memberships that auto-renew. Best for: Standard gym plans.

  • Member is billed automatically on a set interval (e.g., every 1 month)

  • Billing date can be set (e.g., 1st of each month)
  • Example: $50/month unlimited access, billed on the 1st, active until cancelled.

💳 Pay Once

  • Single payment with a set duration. Best for: Short-term passes, workshops, and events.

  • Member pays one time upfront

  • No automatic renewels
  • Example: $200 for a 3-month summer pass, member pays once and access expires automatically after 90 days.

🎟️ Punch Card

  • A set number of visits paid upfront. Best for: Drop-in members and class packs.

  • Member pays for a fixed number of visits

  • Each check-in uses one punch
  • Membership ends when visits are used or the time period expires
  • Example: $80 for 10 visits, valid for 60 days

🚦Max Payments

  • Limits the total number of billing cycles on a recurring plan. Best for: Payment plans and installment-based memberships.

  • Set the exact number of times a member will be billed before the membership ends

  • Works in conjunction with the Recurring billing type

  • Example: $100/month for 6 months - after 6 payments, the membership ends automatically

🚀 Is This a Trial?

  • Marks a plan as a free or discounted introductory offer. Best for: New member promotions

  • Free or reduced rate for the trial period, immune from enhancement fees

  • Trial plans are marked as visitors in the system

  • When trial completes, member is moved to Lead status if no membership is purchased

  • Example: 1 day pass, 7 day free trial, 14 day free trial
